One Mind, Infinite Possibilities
My work focuses on the theme of Identity. This is shown through my use of landscape, metaphorical objects, and self-portraiture. I work with mixed media, combining traditional and digital art. I use watercolor paper to add layers to some of my art to give more depth and focus into my imagination. By incorporating these self-portraits, I express every part of me that I view, from my doubt and persistence to the very things that inspire me to create art the way I do. My greatest influences come from video games and music; from the times I longed to explore vast maps and reflect on myself in relation to the characters I controlled, to the flow and visual idea that music drives me to create. These self-portraits, use of characters, and metaphors allow me to express myself from how I view myself and the lens I see through both the many arts created and the world itself.
